Witness Collection is a working collection, whose art works are regularly made available to researchers and for exhibition. Most artists intended their works to be seen publicly, so Witness Collection is aiming towards making the majority of its collection accessible for public display. A series of touring exhibitions are currently being planned in collaboration with partners around the world. For many of the paintings, the necessities of professional cleaning, conservation, documentation and framing mean that this is a skills- and time-intensive process, so not all works are available immediately.
Witness Collection is also involved in plans for a new arts centre, where it will be based as the resident collection and operate an ongoing programme of shows.
